Speaking at Leisure
My neighbor, Florence Caruso, invited Marie Gilbert and I from the South Jersey Writers' Group to speak at the Maple Shade Leisure Club meeting in Maple Shade, New Jersey on March 6th.
The group totaled about forty people. They listened kindly as Marie and I talked about writing, our publishing credits and present projects.
Steampunk Granny, Marie Gilbert, took questions and comments from the audience.
As Florence adjourned her meeting, members bought copies of the South Jersey Writers' Group anthology, "Tall Tales and Short Stories from South Jersey" and copies of John Farquhar's book, "What To Expect When You're Dead."
A big 'thank you' to Florence and Maple Shade Leisure Club for welcoming and supporting us.
